Christmas pictures!

The Morén family and Mattias enjoys traditional Swedish Christmas food two days before Christmas Eve. Mattias did enjoy it, I don't know why he looks like that...

Me and mom gives our "butler" Ernst his Christmas outfit.

Cute, huh?

Christmas Eve. Mom with my youngest "cousinchild". Moms niece's daughter Maya. See the antlers? :)

My cousin Nils with his daughter Olivia, my brother David, my cousin Cecilia with Maya and my aunt Inger.

My cousin Helena, my uncle C-H and Erika.

Christmas Eve dinner. The best!

Presents! Me with one of the gifts I got from Mattias' parents, a mug with my name on it.

Maya's christening on Boxing Day. My cousin Cecilia and her husband Peter, their children Oliver, Emma and Maya. Peter is from Australia and that's also where they live, but they visited Sweden and Burträsk over Christmas.

Dinner afterwards.

Ten cousins. All my grandma's and granpa's (on my moms side) grandchildren except two who lives in Stockholm. Cecilia, David, Carolina, me, Lars-Fredrik, Erika, Peter, Helena, Urban, Nils. I don't know when we all were together the last time. Probably a couple of years ago.

Cecilia and Peter helps Maya open her presents.

Merry Christmas!

Not happy anymore

The happy, cheery mood I was in when I published the pictures below disappeard around 1.26 PM. My anger and irritation comes from a combination of Norwegian technicians, the post office, a lost packet with cables and just the general situation at the movie theater right now. We're getting digital projectors installed and it only gives me trouble, headaches and a LOT of work. And I don't have time for this!!!

Me and Snutte, cute huh?

Fall and winter

And finally, Ryan, here are the picture from our winter and our snow. The second one is one I took of a beautiful tree a very cold fall-morning.

The whole gang gathered

Almost everybody gathered, in costumes.

The Halloween dance contest

I promised pictures a month ago, here they are.

Zandra and Tomas as ghosts.

Pireates of the Carrabean. Fredrik and Moa.

Micke and Emilia, dressed as cave-people.

Matte and Josse were cowboys... sort of... They finished second.

One year ago today...

... I attended what I suppose was my last Nobel banquet. Second and last. Today, my sister is there for her third time. And I'm watching it on the tv, 800 kilometers away. But I'm not really as sad as I might sound. It was quite expensive and since I have to go to Stockholm, it takes a whole weekend. But I did have fun and the food was delicious. So if somebody wanted to treat me once more, I don't think I would decline. :)

Right now

I hate: Rain! Rain, rain, rain! Even the big piles of snow is almost entirely gone. Let's just hope that it will be like the last two (three?) Christmases when we have had big snowstorms on Christmas Eve (which is when we celebrate).

I love: the fact that we have almost everything done in our apartement. We got the couch, coffe table and book shelves last week. And it is even better than I thought it would be.

This week: I don't work at the news paper until Sunday, so I can spend all week at the movie theater and shopping for Christmas presents. Which I'm not, yet. But I will.
