Crazy...

My life is crazy right now. Cray busy but also crazy funny. :) I have been promoted to local manager at the movie theater here in Skellefteå. How cool is that? The "real one" is having surgery and will be gone for at least six month. So they asked me to take over for him, at least until he comes back. And then he's thinking about quitting. But that's a later story.

I sort of started yesterday. Today I had to call and "yell" at one of my co-workers because he didn't do what he was supposed to last night. It turned out he had dropped a movie on the floor last night and had stayed until 3.30 am to roll it back up. Poor thing.

I also still work here at the news paper. But now it's easier for me to plan my days. Since I have nothing scheduled at the movie theater any more, I will be able to work around my days here. Free time? Time off? What's that?

Election

Today there's an election here in Sweden. We have seven big parties, compared to your two, but now thye have "teamed up" into two big groups. Right now the result is really even. It's actually pretty exciting, mostly because I work at the paper and we can not do so much until we know the result. It will be a long night tonight. Good thing I don't start until four tomorrow.

What did you do?

Me and my boyfriend at the time, Jonas, had just come home to his parents house when his mom came running out "Come look- they have bombed USA". His parents were puting glass around their porch, so we had borrowed a small truck and drove to them with some windows. Then we watched it on tv all night.

Engagement dinner

June 2nd, mom and dad held an engagement dinner for me and Mattias. Back then, I promised to post pictures from it, and three months later, here they are! Erika and David are ready for it to start.

Positive news!

I remember, I do have something fun to post on here. Last night, we went to visit some friends of ours, Patrik and Jeanette. They are house-sitting her parents house (since they are on vacation in Bulgaria) and they have four-week-old kittens. They were sooo cute! And I want one, but not while we're living in our tiny apartement. Mattias has been kind of negative, but last night even he melted. One of the kittens were cuddling with him, and kept teasing him, so I think he kind of fell in love with it (we're not sure if it's a boy or a girl). He even namned it – Rocky! Maybe, maybe, when they're ready to leave their mom, we have a bigger apartement. Maybe... And then maybe Rocky can come live with us. :)

Not again!

My memory is good, but short. Didn't I say last time that I was NOT going to post only negativity on this blog? I have to remember that tomorrow...

Not complaining!

I am not complaining, I am not whining. But when I finally have time to start going to the gym and have bought a new card, what do you think happends? I wake up with a soar throat and a runny nose. Crap! And of course I have 60 hours to work this week. 12 down, three houndred to go...

Ok, maybe I'm complaining a little bit. I'll try to be better tomorrow. Or I have to be better tomorrow! I don't have time for this!
